An enjoyable morning at Clarence City Council’s Australia Day Awards.
I was impressed by the extraordinary achievements and contributions of all award nominees and winners, including those of Maureen McDonald, who I nominated, and who has given forty years of service to Li-VeTasmania through the Acorn Branch.
Congratulations to all the award nominees and winners and thank you for your substantial contributions to the local community.
I’d also like to congratulate the 28 new Australian citizens. Migrants help shape Australia and bring with them the benefits of diverse cultural experiences which we all have the opportunity to enjoy.
