Happy International Women’s Day!

I am proud to be a member of a party in which 48% of Federal parliamentarians and 64% of Tasmanian state parliamentarians are women.

As a former early childhood educator I am also proud to be a member of a party which is committed to making child care cheaper for 97% of families, which will help boost women’s participation in the workforce, which will in turn contribute to closing the gender pay gap.

Labor truly is on the side of Australian women.
