The Hobart Jobs and Skills Forum is one of 100 around the country – bringing together employers, unions, professional associations, employment service providers and a variety of other stakeholders to generate ideas about how to tackle the skills crisis, make jobs secure and get wages moving again.
Great to join my colleagues Andrew Leigh MP, Brian Mitchell MP – Federal Member for Lyons & Senator Carol Brown to facilitate the forum.
A lot of passionate, well reasoned contributions to the discussion. I am looking forward to seeing the issues and ideas discussed being fed into the national summit in Canberra.
Thank you to everyone who attended.
